We have often wondered if this was feasible – to travel from school to events like swimming outings by bike instead of bus. What with a crammed curriculum as well as maybe some health and safety questions some schools may ponder, it must seem like an impossibility.
So pleased then that Tullygally School in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, has made this possible. Well done to teacher John O’Hagan and all those involved in this fantastic project.
